DJ Flame - aka Angela Yen - is one of the few successful female DJs to come out of Singapore's club scene. Mixing a blend of minimal techno and funkier house, she has managed to carve herself quite a niche in the male dominated Far East. Now an established member of the Singapore circuit, Flame's first real opportunities came at venues like the Liquid Room and Area 22. She caught the eyes and ears of Ivan Rantung, who picked her as the only female to represent his dance show for the First Anniversary Party at Zouk.
