Bread Line

Just down the street from the White House and the World Bank, this Pennsylvania Avenue Eatery is just as famous for its delicious food as it is for the famous faces that frequent it. Strictly a weekday joint, Bread Line is inexpensive and mostly straightforward. It can also be unbelievably crowded, hectic and loud, but, unlike many places with the same atmosphere, the food is actually worth the hassle. And you might be elbowing for a place in line with someone you saw on the evening news just last night...
